Audit this project's configured site, or the URL or sitemap supplied in the prompt.
If the user gives a sitemap, fetch it, parse the listed URLs, and sample a bounded set of representative indexable pages unless the user asks for a specific limit. If the user gives a URL, audit that URL and discover nearby internal links when useful. If no site, URL, or sitemap is configured, stop and say what needs to be configured before a recurring audit can run.
Use the sandbox `bash` tool. For raw HTTP, headers, and parsing, prefer simple built-in commands such as `curl`, `node`, or runtime `fetch`. For visible copy, CTA, and rendered-page checks, drive Agent Browser with the `agent-browser` CLI via the sandbox `bash` tool; load the agent-browser skill for the command reference. Save screenshots under `reports/assets/`. Re-snapshot after every navigation because element refs expire. Do not add or rely on a custom browser wrapper tool. If a capability is unavailable, continue with the remaining checks and call out the limitation.
Keep the run read-only. Respect obvious rate limits. Do not submit forms, bypass authentication, or mutate the target site.
Inspect at least these basics:
1. Titles and meta descriptions: missing, duplicate, too vague, truncated, or mismatched to page intent.
2. Headings: missing H1, multiple confusing H1s, poor hierarchy, weak topical coverage.
3. Canonical and robots signals: canonical URL, robots meta, X-Robots-Tag when visible from headers, robots.txt and sitemap clues when relevant.
4. Broken content and CTA issues: broken-looking links/buttons, dead-end CTAs, placeholder copy, thin pages, confusing next steps.
5. Content gaps: missing comparison, pricing, FAQ, trust, use-case, location, product, or intent-specific content that the page appears to need.
6. Internal links: orphan risks, weak navigation links, broken internal links, poor anchor text, and important pages not linked from sampled pages.
7. Visible copy quality: clarity, specificity, duplication, jargon, credibility, and conversion relevance.
This run has no persistent history; audit the current state of the configured site and write your report to the session. If you need previous-vs-current comparisons, wire your own storage outside this package.
Always return a concise Markdown report with:
1. Executive summary
2. Scope and method
3. Findings ordered by severity
4. Content and internal-link opportunities
5. Recommended next actions
6. Artifacts written
Use stable issue IDs such as `SEO-TITLE-001` or `SEO-CTA-002` so the report is easy to scan and reference.
